Wineshark Cooking Class - Fillet of Beef Creamy Pesto Sauce 牛柳扒忌廉香草汁


Ingredients (for 4):

  • Beef fillet - 4 pieces
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Black pepper finely - 1/4 tsp
  • Basil leaves - 1 pack
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Pine nut - 2 oz
  • Olive oil - 1 tbsp
  • Parmesan cheese - 1 oz
  • Whipping cream - 8 oz
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
Procedures:

1. Toast the pine nuts until fragrant. 


2. Finely chop the basil leaves.


3. Finely chop the garlic cloves.


4. Crush the pine nuts.


5. Mix the basil leaves, pine nuts, garlic with olive oil, Parmesan cheese, whipping cream and season with salt. 


6. Season the beef fillet with salt and black pepper finely.


7. Heat the pan to high temperature, and sear the beef on both sides to medium rare. Then rest the beef fillet.


8. Put the creamy pesto sauce on the plate, then put the steak on top.
