Transportation:

• Take KMB No. 72 departing from Cheung Sha Wan Bus Terminus heading to Tai Wo, alight at Chung Tsai Yuen, then walk up Tai Po Kau Forest Track for 200m to the start of the trail
• Return by walking along Tai Po Kau Forest Track back to Tai Po Road, then take KMB No. 72 back to Cheung Sha Wan Bus Terminus

This is a short and easy trail, suitable for all ages going into the forest, with fresh air and clear stream to greet the hikers. The start is an upward walk up stone steps, with the gradual ascend easy to manage.

After a short while the trail flattens and you will walk on the dirt trail, with the signs introducing the different types of bird you might find in this area.

Soon there is a branch, with the left continue onto Tai Po Kau Forest Walk (Brown and Yellow Walk). Follow the sign with the path straight ahead which will start to descend.  

After a short while on the descending stone steps you will hear the stream. Soon reaching the stream, which got a small walkway across, you will find the crystal clear stream with lots of fish. If you look carefully you might also find some newts. 

Continue ahead you will reach the end of the trail.
