Frankfurter Sausage with Sauerkraut

Ingredients (for 4):

  • Butter - 2 oz
  • Sauerkraut - 1 lb
  • Bacon - 12 strips
  • Carrot - 2 pieces
  • Onion - 1
  • Bouquet Garni - 1
  • Juniper berries - 10
  • Black peppercorn - 6
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • White wine - 4 oz
  • Garlic sausage - 8 
  • Frankfurter sausage - 8
  • Potatoes - 8
Procedures:

1. Coat the baking tray with butter.

2. Put the sauerkraut on the tray.

3. Coat the bacon on top of the sauerkraut.

4. Put the carrot, onion slices, and bouquet garni in, along the juniper berries and black peppercorn. Season with salt and add the white wine.

5. Cover with tin foil. Put in oven heated at 200 degree Celsius for one hour.

6. Remove the bacon, and then add the sausages. Put back in oven until the sausages are heated. 

7. Boil the potatoes.

8. Put the different ingredients on the plate.
