Wineshark Home Cooking - Ultimate Teriyaki Chicken 終極照燒雞肉


Ingredients (for 2):
  • Chicken steak - 300g
  • Pepper salt - dashes
  • Tapioca starch - 2 tsp
  • Soy sauce - 1.5 tbsp
  • Sake - 1.5 tbsp
  • Mirin - 1.5 tbsp
  • Sugar - 1.5 tsp
  • Oil - 1 tsp
Procedures:

1. Mix soy sauce, sake, mirin, sugar as the teriyaki sauce.


2. Flatten the chicken steak, and then season with pepper salt on both sides. Coat with a thin layer of tapioca starch on both sides.


3. Heat the pan at medium level, add oil, then pan-fry the chicken steak skin down, press down while pan-frying.


4. When the skin turns golden, flip the steak over to continue to pan-fry under low heat.


5. When the steak is almost done, pour in the teriyaki sauce on top. Continue to let it simmer under the sauce thickens and vaporizes.


6. Cut into strips to serve.
