Ingredients (for 2):
- Chicken steak - 300g
- Pepper salt - dashes
- Tapioca starch - 2 tsp
- Soy sauce - 1.5 tbsp
- Sake - 1.5 tbsp
- Mirin - 1.5 tbsp
- Sugar - 1.5 tsp
- Oil - 1 tsp
Procedures:
1. Mix soy sauce, sake, mirin, sugar as the teriyaki sauce.
2. Flatten the chicken steak, and then season with pepper salt on both sides. Coat with a thin layer of tapioca starch on both sides.
3. Heat the pan at medium level, add oil, then pan-fry the chicken steak skin down, press down while pan-frying.
5. When the steak is almost done, pour in the teriyaki sauce on top. Continue to let it simmer under the sauce thickens and vaporizes.
