Wineshark Cooking Class - Pan-fried Chicken Steak with Salt


Ingredients (for 4):
  • Chicken steak - 2 pieces (400 g)
  • Salt - 1 pinch
  • Butter - 1 tbsp
  • Soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Mirin - 1 tbsp
  • Vinegar - 2 tbsp
  • Mashed Turnip - 2 tbsp
  • Chili powder - 1 pinch
Procedures:

1. Marinate the chicken steak with salt.


2. Saute the chicken steak with butter at medium heat, pressing the skin down to cook for 5 minutes until the skin turns golden brown.


3. Flip the chicken steak over and continue to saute at medium-low heat until the chicken is well-cooked.


4. Mash the turnip.


5. Mix the soy sauce, mirin, vinegar with the mashed turnip and add in the chili powder for the dipping sauce.
