Wineshark Cooking Class - Piccata of Pork

Ingredients (for 4):

  • Pork loin - 4 slices
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • White pepper powder - dashes
  • Flour - 1 oz
  • Egg - 1
  • Tomato - 1.5 oz
  • Onion - 1.5 oz
  • Mushroom - 0.5 oz
  • Tomato paste - 1 tsp
  • Ketchup - 1/2 tsp
  • Mixed herbs - 1/4 tsp
  • Garlic - 1.5 tsp
  • Brandy - 1/2 tsp
  • Stock - 1 tbsp
Procedures:

1. Hammer the pork loin and then season with salt and white pepper powder.

2. Coat the pork loin with flour, then dip into the whisked egg before pan-fry to golden brown on both sides.

3. Dice the onion, mushroom and tomato.

4. Heat a saucepan with oil, then add garlic. When fragrant, add the diced onion, mushroom and tomato. Season with mixed herbs and sprinkle with brandy.

5. Add tomato paste, ketchup and stock and cook for a while.

6. Pour the sauce on top of the pork loin to serve.
