Wineshark Cooking Class - Neapolitano Pizza Sauce 那不勒斯餡餅汁


Ingredients (for 4):

  • Onion - 1
  • Garlic - 2 tsp
  • Oil - 2 oz
  • Canned tomato - 1
  • Tomato paste - 2 oz
  • Oregano - 1 tsp
  • Basil - 2 tbsp
  • Sugar - 1 tbsp
  • White pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Corn starch - 1 tbsp
  • Parmesan cheese - 2 oz
  • Mozzarella cheese - 4 oz
  • Anchovy - 4
  • Salami - 8 
  • Parma ham - 4
Procedures:

1. Cut the onion finely.


2. Cut the garlic finely.


3. Cook the onion with oil. Then add the garlic and continue to cook for a while.


4. Add the chopped canned tomato and tomato paste.


5. Add the herbs and sugar. 


6. Mix the corn starch with some water, then pour in and mix well. Season with salt and white pepper powder.


7. Smear the sauce on the pizza dough evenly. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese on top.


8. Put the anchovy, salami, ham and other ingredients of your choice on top. 


9. Sprinkle with mozzarella on top.


10. Put in pre-heated oven of 240 degree Celsius and bake for 15 minutes. 


11. Put some chopped fresh basil on top to serve.
