Wineshark HK Restaurant Review - Braza Churrascaria

This Brazilian steakhouse is located in Central Lan Kwai Fong, with the name churrascaria referring to the restaurant serving mainly grilled meat, in the style of rodizio, with the staff serving the meat carved right at table from a sword-like skewer.

The services are good, and the seating comfortable. The dinner buffet costs $398 per person, with a salad bar having a good range of seafood, organic salads, a variety of cheeses and cold cuts, as well as some other hot side dishes. There was a card indicating we were still hungry or full, and until we flipped that, the staff kept coming with more meat.

For the beef, we tried the signature picanha, or rump steak, ribeye and sirloin. For pork, BBQ ribs and chorizo. For lamb, Australian lamb chops with fresh herb marinade. For chicken, the lemon pepper chicken breast. For vegetables, the roasted pineapple with cinnamon sugar. All were quite good but I liked the ribeye, chicken breast and pineapple the most. After that we ordered the Ice Cream ($38) for desserts.

The total bill on the night was $1,046 and frankly if you are a big meat eater, the restaurant would be a good place to eat your fill. For us, who did not like buffet and not a particularly fond of big steak, it might not be the best place for dinner.
