Wineshark Cooking Class - Pan-fried Sand Borer 蒜煎沙尖

Ingredients (for 4):

  • Sand borer - 500 g
  • Garlic - 5 cloves
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • White pepper powder - 1 tsp
  • Lemon - 1/2
  • Oil - 250 ml





Procedures:

1. Peel the garlic and cut 3 cloves into slices. Chop the remaining into finely.

2. Clean the sand borer and then marinate with garlic finely, salt and white pepper powder for 20 minutes.

3. Heat the pan to medium heat with oil, then add the garlic slices and deep fry until crispy. Then remove and put on kitchen paper to soak up the oil.

4. Place the sand borer in the pan and pan-fry on both sides until golden. 

5. Put the sand borer on the serving dish, and then sprinkle with the deep-fried garlic slices. Squeeze some lemon juice on it before serving.
