Wineshark Cooking Class - Stir-fried String Beans 乾煸四季豆


Ingredients (for 4):

  • String beans - 200 g
  • Pork - 100 g
  • Dried shrimps - 15 g
  • Garlic - 20 g
  • Ginger - 10 g
  • Rice wine - 2 tbsp + 1 tbsp
  • Soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  • White pepper powder - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Sugar - 1/2 tsp
Procedures:

1. Mince the pork. 


2. Remove the two ends of the string beans, and peel the tough fibre. Cut into sections.


3. Cut the garlic and ginger finely.


4. Soak the dried shrimps in rice wine for 5 minutes. Then remove and drip dry.


5. Mix soy sauce, white pepper powder, salt, sugar, and rice wine.


6. Pour in 2 tbsp of oil in the wok at medium-low heat, and then add in the string beans to slowly cook to slight brown.


7. Push the string beans to one side, then add in the minced pork. Turn to medium heat and stir fry until the pork turns to white colour.


8. Add in the dried shrimp, minced garlic and ginger. Continue to stir fry.


9. Add in the sauce and continue to stir fry together. 


10. Serve.
