Wineshark Cooking Class - Chicken Roll 雞肉捲


Ingredients (for 4):

  • Chicken steak - 2 pieces
  • Carrot - 1/4 
  • Potato - 1/4 
  • Beans - 6
  • Soy sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Mirin - 2 tbsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
Procedures:

1. Remove the skin and fat of the chicken steak. Marinate with salt on both sides.


2. Cut the carrot into strips of 5mm thick and 5cm long.


3. Cut the potato into strips of same length.


4. Put the vegetables on the chicken steak.


5. Wrap the chicken steak around, using toothpicks to skewer.


6. Heat the pot with mirin and soy sauce, and then add the chicken roll in and cover with lid. Cook at medium heat until steam comes out, then lower to low heat to cook for 40 minutes.


7. Turn the chicken roll over and continue to let it simmer with the remaining heat for a while. Then serve by cutting into pieces.
