There is a public car park at the entrance of the Lions Nature Education Centre. And going through the gate turn right and after a short walk one can see the main building in the site, and turning left it is the Insectarium. Unfortunately it was closed on the day because of COVID.
Very soon one will see the starting point of the trail. Walking up the steps will reach the trail, not paved but with earth mainly, offering a nice comfortable cushion on the walk, which I prefer than the well-paved concrete or stone tracks.
However soon the trail goes down, and because there was rain on the day before some of the sections became quite muddy. Then the path ends, connecting with the concrete path downhill. Then there is a fork. Continuing the nature trail we were walking back to where we start, and in no time we returned to the Medicinal Herbs Garden.
There is a cafe staffed by deaf people but unfortunately it was not opened due to COVID-19. I hope I can come another time to support this meaningful venture, providing jobs and opportunities for people having hearing impairment.
Overall very easy to walk. A good place to have some time with kids.
