Transportation: 

• Take KMB No. 91 departing from Diamond Hill MTR Station and alight at Tai Au Mun 大坳門, then walk along Clearwater Bay Road to Tai Hang Tun 
• Return along the same way to Tai Au Mun to take the same bus back to Diamond Hill Station

There is a public car park at the Tai Hang Tun BBQ Site. After walking down a number of steps one can see the beginning of the tree walk with a big sign. 

Then there is a fork on the path, and first taking the right and headed up another few steps one would reach the Tai Au Mun Viewing Point, offering a gorgeous view of the Steep Island (the closest one) and the further North and South Ninepin Island. A very breezy and relaxing point where one can spend a good amount of time taking a break.

Returning to the fork earlier, taking the steps down began the tree walk, and along the way there are plenty of vegetation, insects and other wildlife. There are good shades so one would be protected from the sun. 

Reaching the end of the descent the next section of the path is mainly flat, and one would walk along the coastal contour. Continuing along the path for a while, it will lead to a flight of steps leading back up. 

Leading back to the BBQ site and effectively completed the tree walk, the area is the famous location for people flying kites. There is another viewing point which offers a similar view with the prior one, but on the right the Po Toi O village can be more clearly identified. Taking a break one can walk back towards the BBQ site and returning back to the starting point. 

A very easy to walk trail and good for all ages. If you happen to come here for picnic or other activities it is a good idea to also talk and learn the trees in this Tree Walk.
