Wineshark Go Hiking - Kong Ha Ao to Luk Keng

Transportation: Take green minibus 20R from Tai Po Market train station, alight when the minibus turns into Wu Kau Tang Road.

The initial section is all uphill and will require some stamina. After a while you will reach the Wu Kau Tang Fire Lookout.

Continuing the road it starts to go downhill, and then will join the Tiu Tang Lung Path. This is not an easy path, paved with rocks and if the weather is wet can become very slippery. Special attention is required especially for those not so experienced in hiking.

Further downhill you will reach Kuk Po, the old village, and very soon will arrive at the shore, where you can enjoy some bean curd desserts and snacks. Opposite you will see the Shataojiao of Shenzhen.

Along the shore you will pass some marshland where plenty of wildlife can be seen. After passing through a number of villages, where you can stop by to enjoy a meal or snacks, you will finally arrive at Luk Keng, and from there can take the green minibus 56K back to Fanling train station.
