Wineshark Cooking Class - Egg and Beef Rice in a Pot 窩蛋牛肉煲仔飯


Ingredients (for 4):
  • Chicken breast - 200 g
  • Soy sauce - 1 tbsp
  • Oyster sauce - 1/2 tbsp
  • Sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • Water - 4 tbsp
  • Corn starch - 1 tbsp
  • Oil - 3 tbsp
  • Egg - 1
  • Rice - 2 cup
  • Dark soy sauce - 1 tsp
  • Soy sauce - 3 tbsp
  • Chicken stock - 1 tbsp
  • Sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • Sesame oil - 1/2 tsp
Procedures:

1. Mince the chicken breast.


2. Season the minced chicken with soy sauce, oyster sauce, sugar and water for 10 minutes.


3. Mix the minced chicken with corn starch.


4. Mix the minced chicken with oil.


5. Cook the rice in the pot with high heat.


6. When the surface of the rice starts to turn dry, add the minced chicken in. Then cover with lid and turn to low heat to cook for 15 minutes.


7. Put the egg in and cover back with lid. Turn off the heat and let it rest for 5 minutes.


8. Mix dark soy sauce, soy sauce, chicken stock, sugar and sesame oil.


9. Cook the sauce to boiling, then remove.


10. Serve by pouring the sauce on top.
