Transportation:
Take NWFB No. 9 from Shau Kei Wan Bus Terminus going to Shek O, alight at Shek O Bus Terminus.

Sharing:
After leaving the bus terminus walk towards the Shek O Village Road and then turn towards the Shek O Headland Road and walk all the way to the end. There should be a path leading to the bridge to Tai Tau Chau 大頭洲 but unfortunately the bridge was under maintenance today so we had to turn back.

Walking back to Shek O Village and through it would reach Rocky Bay Beach 石澳後灘. At the other end of the beach there is a flight of steps going up, reaching the road in front of some really nice and luxurious houses and continuing to the Shek O Country Club.

In a short while the road connects back to Shek O Road, and walking uphill and pass the roundabout is the Big Wave Bay Road. At the end is the parking lot and then further down the path, passing a number of stores, one would reach Big Wave Bay, where many people are surfing on the day.

Proceeding along the beach to the end there is a BBQ site and a path leading to the famous ancient rock carving. I found that amazing and the patterns prompted me to wonder how on earth the people came here to do this and all sort of mysteries associated with the pattern.

Continuing on the long flight of steps going uphill to Pottinger Peak 砵甸乍山, one would be able to see the beautiful view of the sea, Big Wave Bay and Shek O. The steps are all paved and maintained well so it is easy to walk but requiring stamina.

Heading towards Cape Collison 歌連臣角, the path turns downhill and soon would arrive at Cape Collison Road. There is a special pavillon where the hikers set up for others to replenish their water supply. Then moving on to the Dragon Trail the path will end at the Siu Sai Wan Promenade.
