This section of Wilson Trail begins at Lam Tin MTR Station Exit A, with the distance post W019 to W031. The initial part is walking on the street, along Kai Tin Road all the way down to Lei Yue Mun Road.

Continue along Lei Yue Mun Road, head towards Yau Tong, and turn at the roundabout to Ko Chiu Road.

Walk uphill on the road leading to Junk Bay Cemetery, and after about 600 m, cross the road to go up the steps.

Following the signs towards Devil's Peak, there are good vantage points to look at Yau Tong, HK Island and Kowloon in the distance.

Instead of continuing along the marked path towards Lam Tin, taking a detour to Devil's Peak will bring you to Gough Battery.

The battery is fairly large, and you can spend some time exploring. This is also the highest point of Devil's Peak.

Returning to the earlier split and continue towards Lam Tin, this is the easiest section with flat concrete path.

Then the trail goes down towards O King Road, and crossing the road will begin the ascend to Black Hill. The ascend is not too challenging, but there is not much shade.

Along the way there is a good look at Kwong Tin Estate, and Tiu Keng Leng on the other side.

At the top of Black Hill there is the trigonometrical station, and can also see the aviation reflector on the opposite hill.

Continuing on, first going down and then up, you will reach the two former aviation reflectors. The big white rectangular boards are no longer used.

The next part is the most comfortable one for this section, with good shades and flat dirt path. Then there is a sign showing the way down. Follow that to go down the rough stone steps.

At the end it rejoins the concrete path, which quickly goes to Ma Yau Tong Road. There are many houses along the way.

Then at the junction with Po Lam Road, continue straight across to Tsui Lam Road. At the curve there is another road leading to Au Tau. Follow that path.

The road leads to a number of villages, and there is also the path going to the famous Little Hawaii Trail.

Continuing you will reach Tseng Lan Shue, and passing the village is Clear Water Bay Road, the destination, where you can take public transport to leave.
