Wineshark Cooking Class - Stewed Chicken with Vinegar 醋香燉雞


Ingredients (for 4):

  • Chicken steak - 2 pieces (600 g)
  • Onion - 2
  • Burdock - 1
  • Tomato - 2
  • Rice vinegar - 50 ml
  • Olive oil - 2 tbsp
  • Salt - 1.5 tsp
Procedures:

1. Cut the onion into quarters.


2. Remove the dirt on the burdock skin and then cut into sections about 3cm.


3. Cut the tomato into quarters.


4. Cut the chicken steak into halves, and marinate with salt on both sides.


5. Put the pot under medium heat and add olive oil. Then add onion and burdock to cook until softened.


6. Put the chicken on top, then add in the tomatoes. Pour in the rice vinegar.


7. Cover with lid and cook until steam seeps out. Turn to low heat and continue to cook for 40 minutes. Season with black pepper and salt and serve.
