Wineshark Cooking Class - Cod & Green Pepper Sandwich

Ingredients (for 4):

  • Sunflower oil - 300 ml
  • Green pepper - 4
  • Fresh cod fillet - 600 g
  • Salt - 1 pinch
  • Flour - 3 tbsp
  • Egg - 1
  • Bread - 4 slices
  • Mayonnaise - 4 tbsp


Procedures:

1. Pour a little of the oil into a frying pan and add the peppers. Fry until they are soft and well browned on both sides. Season with a little salt, then lift the peppers onto kitchen paper to absorb the excess oil.

2. Cut the cod into thick slices and season with salt.

3. Put the flour onto a plate and coat the fish. Pat the excess flour off the fish. Dip the fish into the whisked egg. Then carefully add the fish to the frying pan with oil and cook until both sides are golden brown.

4. Toast the bread.

5. Assemble the sandwich with the green pepper followed by a piece of cod.
