Wineshark Cooking Class - Blond Sauce 白汁


Ingredients (for 4):

  • Butter - 2 oz
  • Flour - 2 oz
  • Bay leaf - 2
  • Fish stock - 1 lb
  • Whipping cream - 1 oz
  • Evaporated milk - 1 oz
  • Lemon juice - 1 wedge
  • Salt - 1 tsp
Procedures:

1. Heat the butter till it melts and then add in the flour and bay leaves. Cook at low heat for 5 minutes and continue to stir well.


2. Add the fish stock gradually, whisking constantly to mix well. Cook for 10 minutes.


3. Remove the bay leaves. Then add the whipping cream, lemon juice and season with salt.
