Wineshark Cooking Class - Sichuan Preserved Vegetables with Shredded Pork 榨菜炒肉絲

Ingredients (for 4):

  • Sichuan preserved vegetables - 50 g
  • Pork - 150 g
  • Red chili - 1 
  • Shiitake mushroom - 6
  • Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  • Corn starch - 1 tsp
  • Sugar - 2 tsp




Procedures:

1. Clean the Sichuan preserved vegetable and then cut into strips. Soak in water for about 15 minutes and drip dry.

2. Soak the shiitake mushroom in water until softened, then remove the stem and cut into strips. Add a teaspoon of oil and mix well.

3. Remove the seeds of the red chili and then cut into strips.

4. Clean the pork and cut into strips. Marinate with soy sauce and a teaspoon of sugar for 15 minutes. Then add the corn starch and mix well. Add a teaspoon of oil and mix well before cooking.

5. Heat the wok with 2 tablespoon of oil, then use high heat to stir-fry the shiitake mushroom.

6. Add the pork and continue to stir-fry.

7. Add the preserved vegetables and red chili, continue to stir-fry. Add a teaspoon of sugar. Stir well and serve.
