Wineshark Cooking Class - 29. Omurice

Ingredients (for 4):

  • Rice - 4 bowls
  • Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Tomato - 2
  • Ham - 4 slices
  • Egg - 4
  • Broccoli stem - 2
  • Ketchup - 4 tsp
  • Tomato paste - 4 tsp
  • Sugar - 1/2 tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 1 tsp
Procedures:

1. Peel the garlic and chop finely.

2. Wash the tomato and cut into small pieces.

3. Cut the ham into small pieces.

4. Soak the broccoli in salted water, then cut out the stem and then cut into small pieces.

5. Whisk the eggs and add 1/2 tsp of salt. 

6. Mix the ketchup with tomato paste, then season with salt and sugar.

7. Heat the wok with oil, then pour in the egg, swirl the wok to evenly spread the egg and cook under medium-low heat to form the skin.

8. Heat the wok with oil, add in the garlic to cook until fragrant.

9. Add in the broccoli stem and cook for a while.

10. Add in the tomato and ham.

11. Add in the rice and mix well.

12. Turn off the heat, then add the mixture of ketchup and tomato paste.

13. Scoop the rice into the egg skin and wrap it up.
