Nutritionist Recipe - 14. Fried Rice with Japanese Dried Small Fish

Ingredients (for 4):

  • Japanese rice - 2 bowls
  • Egg - 2
  • Dried small fish - 45 g
  • Roasted seaweed - 2 g
  • Black sesame - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1 tsp
  • Mirin - 2 tsp
  • 7-flavor chili powder - 1 tsp
  • Oil - 1 tsp

Procedures:

1. Whisk the egg and then pan-fry to egg sheet, then cut into thin strips.

2. Heat the pan and add the oil, then add the dried small fish to cook for a short while.

3. Add the Japanese rice and use the wooden spoon to break the rice from lumps.

4. Season with salt and then add mirin.

5. Add the egg strips, roasted seaweed and black sesame and stir fry till mix well. 

6. Serve in a bowl and add the 7-flavor chili powder on top.
