Wineshark Cooking Class - Xingning Beef and Pork Meatball 興寧牛對豬


Ingredients (for 4):

  • Beef - 150g
  • Pork - 150g
  • Fatty pork - 20g
  • Tapioca starch - 1 tbsp
  • Salt - 1/2 tsp
  • Sugar - 1 tsp
  • Soy sauce - 1 tsp
  • Rice wine - 1 tbsp
  • Bean sprouts - 500g
Procedures:

1. Cut the fatty pork into small pieces. Mince the pork.


2. Cut the beef into small pieces.


3. Mix the beef and pork with tapioca starch, 1/2 tsp sugar and 1/2 tsp soy sauce.


4. Use the hands to squeeze out the meatball.


5. Heat the pan with 2 tbsp of oil, then pan-fry the meatball at low heat.


6. Flip the meatball over and pour in the rice wine on the side of the pan. Then add in the remaining sugar and soy sauce.


7. Heat a pot of water, add in some oil and salt, then blanch the bean sprouts. Remove and place on the rim of the serving dish.


8. Add in a bit of corn starch mixed with water, then put the meatball in the middle to serve.
