Wineshark Cooking Class - Steamed Turnip Balls 清蒸蘿蔔丸


Ingredients (for 4):
  • Turnip - 300 g
  • Pig neck - 50 g
  • Salt - 1 1/4 tsp
  • White pepper powder - 1/8 tsp
  • Tapioca starch - 60 g
  • Spring onion - 2 sprigs
Procedures:

1. Mince the pig neck meat. 


2. Marinate the pig neck meat with 1/2 tsp salt and white pepper powder.


3. Finely shred the turnip. 


4. Cut the spring onion into small pieces.


5. Add 3/4 tsp of salt to the turnip and then mix with tapioca starch. 


6. Take about 1 tbsp of shredded turnip and put on the palm, then add 1/4 tsp of pork in. Wrap it into a ball and put on the steaming dish.


7. Steam the turnip balls for 10 minutes.


8. Scatter the chopped spring onion on top.
