Wineshark Cooking Class - Beef Skewers 串標牛柳


Ingredients (for 4):

  • Beef fillet - 30 oz
  • Onion - 1
  • Bell peppers - 2
  • Tomato - 2
  • Mushroom - 16
  • Celery - 2 stalks
  • Mixed herbs - 4 tsp
  • Salt - 2 tsp
  • White pepper powder - 1/4 tsp
Procedures:

1. Remove the tendon and cut the beef fillet into cubes.


2. Cut the celery and onion into shreds. Add 2 pieces of bay leaves, mixed herbs, and season with salt and white pepper powder. Squeeze the onion and celery to get the juice.


3. Marinate the beef with the vegetables. Then add a tsp of oil to mix well.


4. Cut the onion into pieces. 


5. Cut the bell peppers into pieces.


6. Cut the tomato into wedges.


7. Skewer the beef with the vegetables, adding the mushroom at the top.


8. Pan-fry the skewers with oil to get some burnt marks.


9. Put the skewers in baking tray and bake in oven at 200 degree Celsius.


10. Cook the tendon and leftover with oil, then add the vegetables to marinate the beef. Adding a bit of water and tomato paste.


11. Filter the sauce. 


12. Put the skewers on serving plate and then pour the sauce on top.
