Wineshark Home Cooking - Ultimate Marinated Eggs 終極煮蛋


Ingredients (for 4):

  • Egg - 7
  • Dashi powder - 1 small pack
  • Spring onion - 2 sprigs
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Soy sauce - 4 tbsp
  • Mirin - 3 tbsp
  • Sake - 2.5 tbsp
  • Sugar - 1.5 tsp
Procedures:

1. Add soy sauce, mirin, sake, sugar, and dashi powder together. Mix well.


2. Heat it to boiling.


3. Add spring onion and garlic in. Turn off the heat and let it cool down.


4. Heat a pot of water to boiling, then add in the eggs and cook for 7 minutes.


5. Once the eggs are cool down, remove the shell.


6. Pour in the sauce into a plastic bag, and then add the eggs in. Seal it off and let it rest in the fridge for two days.


7. Cut in halves to serve.
